A detailed discussion on the production process of iron boxes and cans

July 12th at 9:25am

(1) Iron material: Generally, after confirming the order, suitable iron materials are ordered according to the layout diagram, including the type, size, etc. Iron materials are usually stored directly in the printing factory. Regarding the identification of the quality of iron materials, visual inspection can be used to check whether there are scratches, uniform patterns, rust spots, etc. on the surface. The thickness can be measured with a micrometer, and its hardness can be felt by hand.

(2) Printing: After the film and layout are sent to the printing factory, they are prepared for printing according to the layout. Usually, a sample is provided to the printing factory for color matching. During the printing process, attention should be paid to whether the printing color matches the sample, whether the positioning is accurate, whether there are stains, whether there are scars, etc. The printing factories responsible for these issues can generally control them themselves.

(3) Cutting: After printing the iron material and returning it to the factory, it can be cut and opened according to the cutting bed. When placing it on the cutting bed, pay attention to whether the operator cuts according to the cutting edge line and whether the length is appropriate and even. Whether workers scratch each other during material feeding should be checked for quality at the operating station.

(4) Stamping: It is the process of pressing iron sheets into shape on a punch press, which is the main job of making cans. Usually, a can needs to be completed in many processes. The general process of the two-piece can with a lid is as follows: lid: opening - trimming - winding. Bottom: cutting - flash edge - pre roll line - roll line.

(5) Packaging: After production is completed and stamped, the packaging department is responsible for cleaning and assembling, putting it into plastic bags, and packing it into boxes. This stage is the final work of the product, and product cleaning is very important. Therefore, before packaging, it is necessary to do a good job of cleaning, and then package according to the packaging method. For products with multiple styles, it is necessary to match the style number and box label and arrange them accordingly. During the packaging process, attention should be paid to minimizing the flow of defective products into the finished product, and the number of boxes must be accurate.
